EUBeach clean up in Cala Gran

Our clean up event aims at collecting plastic waste at a tourist hot spot in Mallorca, in Cala Dor. 

We at Clean Boating are committed in the reduction of plastic pollution, therefore we principally engage the pleasure boating sector, however we work together with schools, tourists and local people.

During this event, we collaborate with local townhalls, sport centers (kayak and diving), port and schools. Due to the collaboration with a diving centre we will clean the seabeds as well, as a lot waste has sunk to the bottom, and/or construction materials. 

As we are external collaborator in the Blue School European Project, four schools will participate as well and advance further their 'blue' activities. 

Moreover we invited media: the local channel IB3 and its sub-channel Gent del Mar (People of the sea) will help us in the dissemination and interview some of the participants.
