Freatida beach clean-up

A beach clean-up and an underwater cleaning, in collaboration with the Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association (HELMEPA), will take place in Freatida, Piraeus. The event will be attended by employees from ERMA FIRST, EPE and METIS, along with their friends and families, in addition to members of EPE’s specialised oil-spill response team. The local cultural association, Diogenis, has also been invited to attend to help raise awareness of the importance of environmental protection within the local community. As part of this event, ERMA FIRST has also partnered with MEPP. MEPP specialises in sea and port cleaning services, using electric boats and freediving techniques only to conduct its underwater cleaning operations.
