Transform litter to art

A beach cleaning campaign will be organised for a secondary Art School in Heraklion (Crete, Greece) during the 8th of May 2023. The campaign will be accompanied by a lecture about marine plastic pollution. Hands-on experiments on the field will be organised in order to present the effects of marine pollution and the presence of the invisible micro-plastics in the marine environment. Finally, an art exhibition using the plastic materials collected from the local beaches will be organised.
