YEAs join the EU Beach Clean Up in Prespa Lake, North Macedonia

The objective of the activity is to engage the YEAs in this worldwide campaign, by working together to clean up the Prespa Lake shores. Moreover, the idea is for the YEAs to also have a place to discuss, share, get insight from experts, as well as brainstorm about ways that this awareness can be shared to youth in their communities. Hence why, the event will take place in two days.

On the 17 September after the Lake Clean Up, there will be a visit to an EU funded Project and Eco Cinema on Wheels in the evening.

On the 18 September, a workshop will be organised at the EU House Bitola together with the EU Ambassador to North Macedonia, 20 YEAs and Natura 2000 NGO, to increase the young people’s awareness on modern waste management and the circular economy in the EU to get their views on the attitude towards their own responsibility in the protection of the environment.
