Cleaning by sea in kayaks

The 2nd MaRaM beach cleaning campaign is part of one of the aspects of the MaRaM Strategy, environmental awareness and education. This campaign, which involves the 11 municipalities of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, runs for 1 week, between 8 and 13 July 2024, preventing the pollution of our bathing waters in order to promote active citizenship and raise awareness of the need for behavior change. Combining awareness with leisure, on the 13 July we will do a cleaning activity at sea with kayaks, in which we travel along an extension of the south coast of Madeira island, collecting marine litter.
