For a second year in row Burgas Free University is joining the #EUBeachCleaup initiative as part of the Erasmus+ KA2 project 'Be a Microscientist'. The project "Be a Microscientist!" (MISC) has the primary objective to investigate sea and river pollution caused by microplastics and propose effective solutions. A specific emphasis on the realm of microplastics is placed. Our collaborative partnership has previously undertaken various initiatives to address the root causes of this problem and explore potential remedies. In the MISC project, the aim is to raise awareness regarding microplastics, starting with broad societal sensitization among young people to the concept of social responsibility. Students and pupils from lcal schools will join the cleanup.
