40th Anniversary of International Coastal Cleanup Day 2025 by ASCOA: Protecting Cameroon’s Coastline

Every year, since 2018, ASCOA joins Ocean Conservancy and the international community to commemorate International Coastal Cleanup Day by organising beach cleanup events in Cameroon’s Coastlines by mobilising hundreds of volunteers and partnering with many other local organisations, government institutions, schools and local business to remove huge amounts of marine debris from the coastlines while also creating awareness on the negative impacts of marine pollution.
