JUM Solid Waste Cleanup – DIADESOL 2025

On September 20th, 2025, the youth organisation Juventud Unida en Marcha - JUM carried out a Solid Waste Cleanup to commemorate the International Day of Solid Waste Management (DIADESOL). Our team of young volunteers dedicated the day to collecting and sorting waste into categories such as plastics, glass, cardboard, and hazardous waste. This action aimed not only to clean the area but also to raise awareness about the importance of reducing plastic pollution, proper waste management, and protecting our environment. The activity was possible thanks to the coordination of local community leaders and highlighted the power of organized youth to generate real impact. With this initiative, JUM reaffirms its commitment to sustainable practices and to motivating more young people to take action for our planet.
