Beach Clean-Up Day Limpieza Burriana

Beach Clean-Up Day 2025 – Burriana On the occasion of World Clean-Up Day 2025, taking place on 20 September 2025, and as part of the #EUBeachCleanup initiative, the City Council of Burriana, together with Europe Direct Castelló, Reciplasa, European Parliament Ambassador Schools, and local citizens, will organize a collective action and awareness day to protect our coastline. This activity is also registered under the Proyecto LIBERA, a national initiative launched by SEO/BirdLife in alliance with Ecoembes, which aims to free nature from litter through citizen participation, awareness, and education. By joining LIBERA, our clean-up connects local action with a wider movement across Spain committed to preserving ecosystems from the impact of waste. The aim is to join forces with citizens, associations, and organizations to clean and highlight the value of our beaches, reducing marine pollution, safeguarding biodiversity, and raising awareness about the importance of keeping our coasts clean.
