EU Beach Cleanup – Coastal Cleanup and Marine Pollution Awareness Activity

As part of the EU Beach Cleanup initiative, a coastal cleanup activity was carried out with the participation of our students. During the activity, plastic, glass, metal and other waste found along the coastline was collected and removed from the environment. The activity aimed to raise students’ awareness of the causes and environmental impacts of marine and coastal pollution. Particular attention was drawn to the effects of marine litter on marine ecosystems and living organisms, while the importance of individual responsibility in protecting the seas was also emphasised. Through this activity, students took part in a practical environmental action and developed greater awareness of clean seas and environmental sustainability.
