Heraklion #EUBeachCleanup – Dermatas Bay

Heraklion Port Authority S.A., in cooperation with the Municipality of Heraklion and the Coast Guard of Heraklion, is organising a coastal cleanup action as part of the pan-European #EUBeachCleanup campaign and World Cleanup Day 2025. The event will take place at Dermatas Bay, a central coastal area of Heraklion, Crete. Volunteers will join forces with citizens, schools, associations, and local organizations to collect litter and raise awareness about marine pollution. This action highlights the importance of protecting the marine environment and demonstrates that every action counts in preserving our sea and coastline.
