Over the last decade, EMODnet has managed to put its mark on the marine knowledge and data environment, in Europe and beyond. This calls for a celebration! From 14 to 16 June, more than 120 organisations from the EMOD-network and stakeholders from research, policy, industry and civil society… will gather on the topic “Connecting Open Data, Delivering Marine Knowledge: A Vision for 2030”. In the online event, participants will celebrate EMODnet’s achievements and discuss user community perspectives, EU and global partnerships, and ocean observation and data collection.

In addition, on 16 June, the EMODnet Secretariat will organise an online workshop on the European Atlas of the Seas. The interactive workshop will provide participants with the opportunity to learn about the many different aspects of the Atlas, from the story behind map layers to how the Atlas can be used in education and ocean literacy. The workshop is open to everyone and is free to attend, whether you are just discovering the European Atlas of the Seas or you are already a user looking for further information!
