The project enabled the creation of a gallery consisting of two main areas: an exhibition area and a cafeteria/store where the company can offer its processed products. The design of the space is highly innovative, recreating the underwater environment with audiovisual projections.
This initiative arises from the need to diversify the business, established in 1997, which focuses on the artisanal processing of anchovies. It also serves the large number of tourists groups that visit the cannery. Additionally, it addresses the lack of an anchovy art museum in a town rich in canneries, aiming to raise awareness of the sector´s importance to the city culture.
