Since 1995, SIA Tilaudi, a small Latvian family-owned producer, has been handcrafting high-quality fish products using traditional methods and durable packaging designed for long-term storage.
As part of the 'Partnership for Rural and the Sea' FLAG strategy, the producer invested in a vending machine specially adapted for fish products to provide round-the-clock access without on-site staff and increase sales opportunities. This innovative distribution method allows consumers to make purchases any time of the day, without the additional retail markup. For the producer, it reduces operational costs while opening new sales channels. Within the same project, additional investments were also made to streamline delivery processes and strengthen marketing and visibility, helping the business remain competitive and accessible to a wider customer base.
