The town of Ustka gets many visitors in the summer season, but in addition to its beaches and walking trails, it wanted to draw tourists to the old fishing village. It applied to the local fisheries LAG for funding to develop two games which encourage people to visit places recalling the area’s fishing heritage and explore the local stories and legends.
The local community, including the fishing sector, were invited to participate in the design of the games, and their distribution was entrusted to the local association running the tourist information centre. Tourists are invited to look for answers to questions about this heritage, and they can win a small “treasure” for answering correctly.
