Beach clean-up in Turkey

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality carries out many studies and awareness-raising activities to protect, clean and increase biodiversity in Izmit Bay. One of our most important project is; to clean the bottom sludge that has accumulated in the eastern part of Izmit Bay for many years and poses a problem. We are planning to hold an event in the area of the project, which is one of the largest environmental investments in Europe.
