#EUBeachCleanup in Portugal

Cleaning the banks of the Selho River and installing two eco-barriers (to retain floating trash) in the Selho River, in the municipality of Guimarães, Portugal. These activities will be supported by green brigades (green volunteers) and Volunteers of the Portuguese Red Cross (Guimarães delegation). This initiative is part of the "CLEANUP4Guimarães - Innovative CLEANing of Unprecedented contamination of Plastic waste from rivers in Guimarães (Portugal)" project, conducted under the European REMEDIES program, which aims to create a multi-stakeholder ecosystem centered on citizen participation.
