Save the date - on 15/04 #TasteTheOcean returns with a cooking competition!

Mark your calendar and get ready to cook! From 15 to 29 April 2024, we invite you to join the #TasteTheOceanContest, our EU-wide cooking competition celebrating the simplicity and flavours of seafood dishes.

Since 2021, we have been working with celebrity chefs from across the EU to develop unique recipes using sustainable seafood with the #TasteTheOcean campaign. Now, it is the turn of EU citizens to become the chefs and battle in the kitchen with the #TasteTheOceanContest.

And it’s not (just) about being the best cook. By showing that seafood can be fast to prepare, easy and tasty, the campaign encourages EU citizens to consume it in the most sustainable way.

Are you ready to join?

Keep an eye out for our social media posts on Instagram or Facebook! We will be announcing more information about the contest soon. To make sure you receive the latest information, we encourage you to follow the hashtag #TasteTheOceanContest.

For those of you who can’t wait, here is a sneak preview of the competition: cook an easy fish or seafood dish, post it on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #TasteTheOceanContest and tag our accounts. You may win a prize!

Sustainability tastes best

As consumers, shoppers, foodies, and parents, we all have a choice to make when it comes to buying our food. No matter where you shop and eat - the fishmonger, the supermarket or the restaurant – make the most informed choices, so that everyone, including future generations, can continue to enjoy the treasures of our seas, rivers and lakes.
